The Holy Family Catholic Primary School OFSTED report October 2024 'Pupils flourish at this welcoming and inspiring school'
Starting school is an important milestone, and we are proud to offer a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a crucial time where the foundations for lifelong learning are laid. In our Reception Class, we place a strong focus on early reading, writing, and maths, building these essential skills through a rich, play-based curriculum that inspires creativity, confidence, and independence.
Our school is a warm and welcoming community, built on the values of honesty, family, acceptance, sharing, and trust. Our mission, ‘As a family we live, love, learn and celebrate with Jesus’ guides all we do. Children love coming to school, reflected in our high attendance and strong sense of belonging. At lunchtimes, our OPAL play programme offers exciting, active outdoor experiences that promote imagination, teamwork and fun.
To support our families, we offer wrap-around care from 7.45am to 5.30pm each day, providing a safe, engaging environment both before and after school. Our wider curriculum is enriched by a broad range of clubs and activities, many of which are free to attend. From sport and art to music and computing, there is something for every child to explore and enjoy. We are committed to offering every child the very best start to their education in a school where they are known, loved, and encouraged to thrive.
We warmly invite you to visit us, please contact the school office on 01707375518 to arrange a tour with the Headteacher and see for yourself what makes Holy Family such a special place to begin your child's education.
